    Like many of our friends and colleagues in this industry, we are passionate about what we do. We not only take pleasure in helping our clients “sell toys to big kids” but are devoted participants as well.     Our Bellwether Reports are intended to provide a sneak preview of how the new boat market is performing each month. This information is based on boat registration data from several large, geographically disbursed states that tend to record their registrations in a timely manner. These states, which together account for about half of all U.S. boat sales, have proven to be excellent indicators as demonstrated by the high correlation with national retail sales data that are usually not available until several weeks later.[read more…]
